Sclerotherapy

Medium and large spider veins on the surface of the legs, feet, or arms are best treated with sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy involves the direct injection of a sclerosing agent into the spider vein using a very fine needle. The sclerosing agent irritates the lining of the vein wall, makes it swell shut, contract, and collapse.

Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows for the removal of large, superficial varicose veins through very small incisions that may not require any stitches. These incisions are generally 2-6 mm in length. Unlike traditional, more invasive surgeries this can be done in our office.

EVLT

Endovenous laser therapy is a quick, minimally invasive alternative to traditional vein stripping. It leaves only one small scar about ¼ of an inch or less at the insertion site. It is performed under local anesthesia with or without sedation here in our office.

Phototherapy

Smaller spider veins in the face and legs can be treated with surface laser therapy. Usually more than one treatment session is needed to reach your desired results. The number of treatments needed depends on the number of veins being treated and the resilience of the veins. Cost for the procedure is determined by the size of the area being treated.
